Happy New Year 2012 with Release 38!

At December 30th we have updated the YHRD with 2306 new haplotypes from 18 populations submitted by 12 research groups. The YHRD has now 99,881 haplotypes of 750 different population samples collected in 109 countries (look at Honduras, its the only new). A large number of Y-SNP typed chromosomes have been added (1338) bringing the share of samples with haplogroup assignment to 8506. 39,4% of all reference samples are typed for the current maximum of 17 Y-STR loci.
